LILAC CITY BEHAVIORAL SERVICES

MISSION

Lilac Learning Center “LLC” offers an opportunity in collaboration with
local school districts for students to access intensive instructional support
utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis.

Program Licensure

Currently a licensed ABA Agency with WA Department of Health and Approved Non-Public Agency with WA OSPI

Population Served

LLC is designed to support students with a history of instructional and behavioral challenges in less intensive special education settings.

The program will serve students with moderate to severe developmental disabilities, ages 14-21, who struggle to make progress in typical special education settings.

Transportation

Transportation to and from LLC will be provided by the sending school district.

Transportation for community based instruction during the program will be provided by LLC.

Staffing

All instruction designed by a certified Special Education Teacher and overseen by a team of Licensed Behavior Analysts and Licensed Assistant Behavior Analysts.

1:1 ratio of Certified Behavior Technicians to students.

IEP Development

LLC staff will develop and write the IEP in collaboration with district admin.

IEPs will be designed to meet WA Safety Net standards.

Related Services

LLC is currently engaged in a search for an SLP and OT subcontractor to provide these related services directly

SLP/OT services to be provided by sending school districts via tele support or in person. We recommend a consultative model for both services with LLC staff implementing day-to-day instruction.

Curriculum

Instructional goals and strategies will be designed by LLC staff to target each individual student’s unique needs

LLC will utilize the Autism Curriculum Encyclopedia (ACE). The ACE, a product of New England Center for Children, is based on their decades of work with individuals with Autism and related disorders.

Targeted programming for communication, social communication, and daily living skills.

Integrated community-based instruction targeting community access, pre-vocational and vocational skills.

Schedule

8:30 AM – 3:00 PM

200-205 day school year to maximize consistent learning across the year
